I did say in my original post that i'm aware record labels don't give out that kinda of information, but what information i know can be found is stuff like the fact Liam said in an interview that when he signed with XL he agreed to do a greatest hits after they had released 4 albums.
I'm not asking for exact contract details but what i am asking for is any other bits of information such as if Prodigy originally signed for 5 albums etc... or if Prodigy have ever felt like leaving XL due to disagreements etc...
What i mean by proof is, if Liam has mentioned anything in an article to do with XL or if XL mention Prodigy in an article, then i need the link to read the info for myself. Part of the assignment is to state how i think their contract is made up and also to talk about what XL do to promote the prodigy.
In that case, try these: -

"This spirit is neatly encapsulated by The Prodigy's Experience LP, the work of an Essex teenager, Liam Howlett, who recorded at home and borrowed samples from sources as diverse as Max Romeo, Ultramagnetic MC's and childrens TV programmes. His follow-up LP Music For The Jilted Generation, with its more sophisticated production and arrangements, stands up as one of the definitive works of electronic music.
In 1997 The Prodigy delivered their world-wide breakthrough LP, The Fat Of The Land; it charted at number one in 26 countries including the U.S."

I'm pretty sure the original record deal was re-negotiated after the success of 'Charly'.
There was a time when they thought about going to Island Records (just before 'Firestarter' possibly) but were happy with XL Recordings so decided not to.
Your best bet is to read Martin James' 'Prodigy' book.

If you haven't already got it, it turns up on Ebay regularly.
