I ordered the blu-ray bundle the day it was announced (nearly two months ago) but I hadn't received the confirmation mail this afternoon and I couldn't wait more so I bought the DVD in my city. Just after having watched it I received the confirmation from Digital Stores

I know I'm stupid but I was waiting for this movie for so long

Another day passes, yet still no Prodigy bundle. Digital C@nts.
That was £65 well spent, and have you read this:

3.3 My order hasn't arrived

The first thing to do is to make sure that your order has actually been sent out to you. When your order is shipped, you are automatically sent an email to let you know.

Check your order status by logging into your account and viewing your order history. If the status of your order says PROCESSED, this means that your order should be on its way to you.

Once our recommended delivery time has elapsed (please see our section on delivery for more information.), If you have chose to have you item sent by Standard Mail, please check that your local postal office aren't holding the package for you. They may not have been able to fit your package through your letterbox and took the package to your local office for you to collect. They should leave a card to say that delivery has been attempted, but we have found that this does not always happen.

If they return the package to us because you did not pick it up at the post office, you will have to pay the p&p charge again to have it resent.

Because of the variance in delivery times, we are not able to consider a package lost by the postal service until 28 days from the SHIPPING date have passed. This is regardless of your country of residence.

If your order was shipped more than 28 days ago, and you have checked at your local postal office to make sure they aren't holding it for you, please email us at customer.services@digitalstores.co.uk

Expecting day after tomorrow...ordered from CDwow yesterday, got despatched email today.
It said it'd ship within 24 hours on the item page before I bought it, but literally just after I bought it it changed to 'Within 7 days'. I think I bought their last copy.

Am keeping the fuck away from digital stores based on this thread (on the prodigy site no less, a site that uses DStores) for anything I want quick.

Sorry to hear it wayne, seems like crazy irony that you of all ppl here are getting this sorta trouble.

Another day passes and still no bundle. To say I'm fuming is an understatement.

Edit: I have just written DS an email asking them to cancel my order and refund my money.
Even if it does arrive I will return it to claim a full refund. These cowboy fucks are not getting another penny out of me, and they can keep their creased and folded mass produced hand scribbled poster and shove it somewhere unpleasant. From now on I will only acquire my Prodigy items from the cheapest dealer, come to think of it, from now on I will just get a friend to copy the CD's for me.

Got mine today, so happy boy. I would hold tight Wayne, call them try to get some compensation/sympathy? The poster is still a nice touch, would be a shame to miss out on that...

I've never had serious problems with them.. (except damaged cd cases) But I dislike DigitalStores because they a too f-king expencive. For example, when I buy "World's on Fire" CD/DVD and "World's on Fire" CD/BluRay in DigitalStores, It will be 32.88 (with delivery).. But the same items at Amason (with delivery) will be only 21.04.

.... and therein lies the issue (well, one of them anyway).

I don't mind paying a premium, if I'm getting a premium service.
The trouble is, somewhere along the line there is a problem which leads to a sub-standard service.

I am still waiting for a refund for the overcharge of postage, no-one could explain to me why payment was taken a month after order the order was made, but still over 3 weeks before "despatch".

Despite attempting to sort that out and re-placing another order on the 30th (the original one was placed on the 1st as soon as I got in from the Cinema showing), I recieved an e-mail on the day of release saying they had stock issues....... and that took all this time to figure out?

After getting in contact with customer services again (on Monday) Gav kindly offered to help out and Theresa said she would sort it.
Sure enough, the Order Status changed to sent.for.package on monday afternoon...... it is still like that now.

After I recieve this and sort out the packaging overcharge, I will not use DigitalStores again, no matter what 'exclusive' or signed stuff is available.
The fact I was getting something nice and extra, that you couldn't get elsewhere has been completely tarnished and I just feel contempt (and almost stupidity) from ordering through the store again.

This is the 7th issue I've had in 3 years.
I deal with very complicated logistics on a regular basis, It cannot be that difficult to organise this kind of thing, especially when so many products were ordered 7+ weeks in advance.
I have had no issues with any other internet orders, new music releases or any other such orders (even coming from the other side of the world) in years.
I just can't understand how/why....... So massively disheartening and disappointing.

Even more galling, is that my brother has, today, recieved his blu-ray copy, which he ordered TUESDAY FUCKING NIGHT from Amazon (less than 36 hours from placing the order).

The Prodigy should find another outlet for the merchandise.

I will stick to Amazon/Play/HMV for now for the media and do without the merchandise and get my tickets elsewhere (which, ordering from the site 'a day before they go on general release' is another waste of time and money)

A genuine Thankyou to Gav and Theresa for making the effort to contact me and get these things sorted.
I am afraid that, despite your efforts, whomever(numpties?) or whatever(poor planning and procedures?) is responsible for the repeated issues I seem to have faced, has lost my future custom along with Wayne's by the look of things.

It's a real shame.

Reply received from DS in less than 36 hours. My order has been cancelled at my request (I requested it last night) and the money has already been transferred back to my Paypal account and will be in my bank soon. I have checked, and it is true.
So I don't get a little bag, overpriced badges, overpriced chilli sauce, overpriced little postcards etc and no signed poster....

but, if anyone here has seen the stuff I have already, do you think I really give a fuck?

Like most I think I got swept up in the "finally they released it!!!!" mentality and ended up paying £65 when all I really wanted was the CD and DVD.
Rest assured these will now be bought far cheaper by those who deliver on time.

And for anyone asking "but the signed poster, surely you want that?!?!"

Here is my answer...

EDIT: Just read that back to myself and it seems like I'm showing off. Please believe I'm not, I posted the link purely to make my point felt that I got swept up in the frenzy even though I could and should have turned my nose up at such a blatant money-making scheme.

My point is some of us don't get as close as we'd like the band we love so much, so that poster signed to me is priceless. I'll remember that day forever, unfortunately I've yet to met any of the crew.

Despite trying to cancel my order to be told it had just been dispatched, I have recieved it thismorning.

My mind is made up 100% - I am never buying from them again.

The poster is creased so badly that the image is broken and cracked through to the white sheet from top to bottom and from the center to the left hand edge.

gutted.

the postman tried to deliver my merch yesterday, but i was at work, so i popped over to the sorting office today to collect, "theres a charge for this item sir, the postage wasn't paid....four pounds ninty eight pence please"

the parcel has "courier" printed on the address label, but they put it in the post, with no postage paid on it, so i pay nearly a fiver to get the fucking thing!....

email on its way, and some fucker will be needing to go to the hospital if i dont get my fiver back...useless wankers
