My friend made a homemade macrocamera of cheap camera and a door peephole.

He experimented on The Prodigy releases, and that's what he got (a few examples):

The result was an interesting effect of aberrations, blurring the focus and image distortion.
No effects and photoshop filters were used.

your friend ought to drop the © sign on his work given he's just taken a photo of my photos (not to mention all the other copyrighted woks he's referenced) and called it his work...

He photographed not a photo - he photographed a band's releases.

I think Ricky is trying to say that he took the original photos on those releases.

Not at all. never said that. Just think it's a bit rich for someone plagiarising to claim that their work in copyrighted as he/she has done on the scrawl under the thumbnails on the link you supplied. Especially when their "art" is taking pictures of pictures...

I have to agree with ricky here, there is nothing artistic on taking a picture of a picture :shock:

Kinda like painting a small portion of the Mona Lisa and then signing it yourself and copyrighting it as your own work. But without the artistry of being able to paint

don't mean to devalue the guy's efforts, just take issue with claiming copyright with no grounds to do so. nuff said on this methinks

Yeah, agree that copyrighting it wasn't smart, but otherwise I'd hang a few on a blank wall with a glass cover.

They were pretty cool though I have to say.

its just the macrocamthingy function... using it on my gear because it makes stuff look awesome looool
