Can anyone tell me why the video even on here was Censored/Cut?.. I'm talking about the scene in the bathroom where she is shooting up

The boys use YouTube and Daily Motion for uploading videos.. I'm pretty sure they don't allow the uncut version on those services. Plus, if they hosted the video themselves on here. Depending on what Host they have here, most likely not allowed.

The uncut version also includes a hit and run incident.

Well after some digging around I did find the un-Censored/un- Cut. full version....Maybe the lad's should look for a host that don't compromise their artistic integrity ?

In this scenario, it's not compromising it, it's merely censoring some heavy shit from a music video. If it's still available to anyone with a quick google search, I can't see them changing any time soon :/

What?.. Of course it's compromising it.. What's heavy shit to someone maybe not heavy shit to someone else.. like some people might think tit's hanging out might be too heavy or the coke in the beginning and many other things in that vid for a matter of fact!..So the reason her laying on the bed at the end when the stripper was leaving was cut for what reason?????

I was just wondering why the "official web site" would only have the Censored/Cut. version.. what was the point of having a un-Censored/un-Cut. version if you can't even have it on the "official web site" the one place that should have it for it's fans

Iirc the version with the shooting up and hit and run incidents came to light a long time after SMBU video was first released, I'm guessing Åkerlund released that version himself.

I meant its not compromising their artistic vision as the things that were cut had nothing to do with artistic vision, they were just part of the video.

Well them cut parts was in the original video so if MTV, Youtube.. ect asked them to cut them parts out it is compromising their original artistic vision of that Video

Censorship is Censorship .... It and we all should be selector see things compromises freedom of expression and artistic integrity. Period. Reality is subjective and we are all entitled to seeing things as they were meant to be shown. Tv tries to control what we see , media go general. Its how we interpret it and not follow it.

I agree100% purple squirrell .. That's why I don't understand on this "official web site" they only show the video what others (MTV, Youtube..ect) have decided to see fit to how we should see it.. I know if it was me i would be FU and host the Video elsewhere

It would be nice to actually have the proper edit or is this the bands choice to leave it edited for the mass public. All in all its ironic we can't get access to it on here. Shows where things are at , the prodigy the media and their law

It would be nice to offer it to the hardcore fans on here.. I forgot to mention when i signed up to this site last night it said my last visit was Nov 1999 and remembering i came on then looking for the uncut video but had no luck then.. I guess it remembered my IP addy
