TOPIC: Radio 1 big weekender

Radio 1 big weekender 4 years, 1 month ago #29334

has anyone else heard of a rumour that the Prod are playing at the radio 1 big weekender on sunday? i went last year when it was in maidstone and it wasn't too bad (well, we all had a laugh) this years one is in swindon!!

nothing is listed on the line up page for sunday http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/bigweekend/2009/lineup/
but it looks a little light compared to the saturday one, like there could be room for more bands.

there is a ticket ballot to get free tickets, but it ends this coming monday morning. just stuck my name down - if it's free and they are playing all the better if not no money lost - win win hehe

it depends where they are on the lineup
if you are anyhting before the last 4 bands of the day you generally get 30 - 40 minutes
3rd and 4th spots get 50 minutes 2nd spot get just over an hour
headliners get 1 hour 30 minutes
that the general guidlines for mainstage acts at festivals

now for instance they are headlining the 2nd stage at download festival in june
in 2006 they got 1 hour 15 minutes
so depends really on where you are going
