**Prodigy Tour Packages for Gigs Abroad, please read** 3 years, 11 months ago #31222

I recently saw the guys in Ireland but had to book flight, hotel & gig tickets all separately.

Now I want to see them in November & it's a pain in the arse because there are no 'Fan Packages' which give you all this in one ticket
All the links that are provided for the gigs do is take you to Ticketmaster in a foreign language or external sites I cannot read!

Guys, if you read this please sort something out as it's great to see you guys abroad.

Book all yourself. It takes the time but it's not hard.

First up, going abroad to see bands is heaps of fun, so I hope you get to go

Bands are not football teams... in that it might be worth providing that kind of service if you have 10 000 people going to a cup match, but for the handful of people making that kind of journey, it just wouldn't be worthwhile. Personally, I find half the fun is in the planning & scheming!!

If you haven't booked that kind of trip before, I'm sure that people here would happily give you tips

I take it you mean the Scandinavian shows? I've had a quick look at the sites that the links are going to, and there is an option to display the page in English (towards the top right hand part of the page where, funnily enough, it says "English") That's fairly typical for ticket websites in non-English speaking countries

Good luck booking your trip!

Cheers guys, all info taken on board & thanks for pointing out english part on foreign sites.

But.... It still would be nice to have 'Fan Packages' to take out all the hassle of booking everything seperate!

The problem is the cost once you add a middle man into the equation; people would always be able to book cheaper if they did it by themselves... then you'd just have a bunch of people whining about how the band were trying to rip them off.

Don't book anything else (particularly if it's non-refundable, like some of the budget airlines) until you have the gig ticket sorted, but get on the case, and there's arguably a better chance you finding travel bargains if you book sooner.

I don't know how old you are, or if you've booked trips like this before - so if this sounds patronising, excuse me! One thing I've learned, particularly if you book ahead is to re-confirm everything (particularly hotel bookings and flights) before you leave Also, there are review websites that are really good at getting an idea of what particular hotels are like. I think it's tripadvisor.com that I've used before, and people on there are brutally honest

Have fun!!
