250k for a festival appearance yes but I'd like to know what the going rate would be for say a 2k sized venue.

Hmm...would be interesting to know. It'd also work better if you got friendly with them, as they're down to earth and enjoy a good time.
If you're too formal with arranging things then it'll be just money, times, date, location and then gone.
I'd want it to be a good experience working 'with' The Prodigy (not really 'with', but you get me) instead of just having them come and go.
I don't think you have grasped how the music business works but you are only a teenager so I am sure you'll understand one day.
Basically money talks, there is hundreds of promoters out there who would kill to have a band like the prodigy on their books as they fill venues and they can make a small fortune from a tour. They make decisions on which promoters offer the best deal in terms of money and conditions favourable to the band.
As a fan I would love to put on a gig and wouldn't want to make any money out of it. My reward would be the gig its self. I despise these kiss ass glorified sales men promoters kissing the ass of bands just so they can make a few quid out of their name.
Liam is the gaffer, he does what he wants to do, works with who he wants so any fan kissing his ass isn't going to make much of a difference unless they have a serious amount of cash that it makes sense to play the gig!
