Did you ever dance on stage with The Prodigy in the 90's? 2 years, 8 months ago #50350

I've been sifting through really old live footage of The Prodigy on Youtube and I continue to come across songs where the band invited people on stage to dance. Did you, or anyone you know, receive the honor of doing so? Experience sharing is very much welcome.

My old schoolmate James (Eggy). Pic taken by me at...well, you can see where it was taken. He was at the Brighton Essential Music Festival '96 with me, but me and my mate Robin went right to the front for Underworld so could only be at the back for Prodigy. Eggy was right at the front for Prodigy and got invited up on to the stage with a few others to dance with the boys. Git, but then he hasn't met them though

Yeah danced on stage with them twice. 92 and 94 in Northern Ireland. Bear in mind that in 92, the place was so small (only about 500 peeps there) the stage was only about 2 foot high!!! LOL!

Haha...that reminds me actually, anyone here has this video I heard about of a small early Prodigy gig where a punter starts pulling the wires and wrecking Liams equipment before Liam 'gives him a good kicking' before someone pulls him off?

It may be a bogus video, as I heard about it on Youtube and nowhere else, but thought I'd mention it anyways

Yeah i did, what an experience that was! It was at The Island in Ilford in about 95 i think.

Shook hands with Leeroy, gave Liam a thumbs up and near the end while Maxim was talking to the crowd i was just standing next to him with my arm round his shoulder.

I don't get this whole bar thing - I found the one at the front had a queue that stretched to Buckingham town centre but the one in the arena at the back was a piece of piss to get served at every time I went.
