Im 26 so am too young to of gone to any of the Jilted or FOTL gigs and unfortunately they didnt do alot of touring around the AONO days so i couldnt see them alot then, which means the majority of the gigs iv been to have been in the last 3 years, iv seen them 11 times. But personally id still put myself amongst the highest category of fan. People may look down on me to a certain extent because i wasnt involved in the Jilted era, wasnt there from the start etc... but there is physically nothing i can do about that, im gutted as fuck that i wasnt born 10 years earlier and could of been in the middle of it when they was doing Norwich waterfront and Zap club and everyone was there for the love of the music etc... but at the same time i still dont see myself as less of a fan than the older people who were there. Like i said above, iv seen them 11 times in 4 countries, spend hundreds of £££ on CD's and Vinyls, hung around after gigs for setlists, Luckily enough managed to meet the band and get signed stuff and a pic, know every song on every release in order from WEL to IMD and got 2 Prodigy tats so feel iv 'earned' the right to call myself a huge fan.

Basically what im getting at is people should be judged on individual merit, the 17 - 18 year olds fuck me off at gigs as well cos alot/most of them dont even know why they are there and give a bigger reaction to Warriors Dance than EITP or Charly (what on earth is that about?) but there is also some really cool younger people on here who are big fans and have also made the effort to know there stuff. At the end of the day i suppose we can only blame The Prodge for the death of the Prodigy dancers for making such amazing music and spanning across the generations...

In the days of iTunes, YouTube and the Internet in general I just find there is no excuse for not researching a band you "love" if you see fit. When i was younger we didn't have that luxury. If you wanted to hear the tracks you went and bought the hard copies. No eBay back then either, so if you wanted those rare imports you had to put the effort in and search the shops. I'm all for younger people getting into the vibe, it's just the ignorant goons who come along to turn the gigs into a moshfest and have no respect for anyone else that I object to. However, when they realise that I'm not going to let them get to the front just because they are aggressive they tend to back off eventually. I didn't find MK too bad really. There are people who come in late, pissed up and actually try to pull you off the barrier to steal your well earned spot. I find an "accidental" elbow to their face tends to dissuade them. I wouldn't put up with it at the bar, in the queue at Sainsburys etc, so I sure as hell won't when I'm seeing my fave group of all time when I made the effort to get there early to get to the front. The girl next to me at MK didn't even know who Liam Howlett was! IMD = Ignorance Must Die. As for ROL being dated.... Doesn't even deserve a response.

It is great that lots of young fans have got into the Prodge recently. It keeps the guys young and keeps them firing on all cylinders. I have attended gigs that their 90's peers have done recently and they do attract the old crowd and although the music is still fantastic, they lack the cutting edge live. I would hate to attend a Prodge gig that was just full of older fans in their 30's, the gigs would not have the energy as they do with the young upstarts.

However what I don't get is all these kids turning up a gigs as the doors/gate opens but not knowing all the tunes they play. MK's set was an invaders and hits laden set and yet some of these kids who had been there all day just make sure they got into the Golden Circle didn't know some of the tunes.

Hopefully in 2011 the lads will do a few small club dates and young and old will get their dancing shoes on and we'll all be happy!
