if you asked me to rate the prodge albums, the order might be the following i think:

1_experience
2_jilted
3_imd
4_aono
5_fotl

yes the fotl is last on my list.i used to dig "twisted firestartaah!" when i was 12 but no more for goods sake.

dunno why fotl couldnt be first or last on someones list

and by the way im like the 2nd generation of prodigy fan, it was FOTL that caught me up in the world of prodigy, but even if I got love for that album as it was the first I heard as a teenager, I was the one who went back to look what else they might have done in the past and that's where I got experience on cassette tape from woolworths (which I sadly don't own anymore I think a 'friend' robbed it) but yeah, I loved experience's tunes way more than the FOTL one and wish I had been born 10 years before I was actually born.

They all have highs and lows I think but anyway heres how I would order them:

1. FOTL - In my opinion there isnt a bad track on it, its relentless, bassy, funky and breakbeaty (is that even a word lol)
2. MFTGJ - Not much to say exept its f*cking outstanding, no matter how many times you listen to stuff like skylined and poison the hairs on your neck will stand up!
3. IMD - Wins third place by a fraction, sounds oldschool but fresh too!
4. Experience - The classic prodigy album, in its own right is still one of the best albums ever, it just gets overshadowed by the prodigys other masterpieces.
5. AONO - I actually think this album is decent, It aint a scratch on any other prodigy albums (exept maybe spitfire) but in its own right its still a good album, if it was released by an artist other than prodigy it would probably be one of their finest pieces of work.

Mainly cause I first got into The Prodigy after hearing Everybody in the Place on a 1992 dance music compilation cassette and thought it was awesome.

Think there are a few types of prodigy fan depending on whey they first discovered them, i'm a bit of a raver so I like Experience best, hated all the electro punk stuff at first, but it's grown on me over the years and I love IMD.

MFTJG, it works on just so many levels.
The CD inlay art, with the raver by the bridge, says it all.
Defines not just '94 but an entire era of attitude and change for me; with plenty of loops and light beats, it had the endless playability of Experience, yet the raw synth leads and sheer attitude give it the weight and danger of a Prodigy album. I've seen some of the tattoo's of the album cover, and wow, just insane.

I put Experience and Jilted both in first place, just because i can't choose.
Experience had it's uplifting rave breakbeats, which nowadays can put up with all the dance stuff that is out there.
Complicated beats, massive basslines, happyness, it's all there.
I got hooked with the Prodigy on this album..

When i remeber correctly, One love was the single between Experience and MFTJG, so a "teaser" for what was to be expected.
Then Jilted came out... Totally differentm but still The Prodigy.
Massive, massive album.. It's a mindtaking journey. The narcotic suite is just something you can't compare with something else..
Well, best dance album ever... covers it all, i guess..

FOTL also massive, again other direction, but still the same Prodigy feel.
AONO just couldn't get to me.. Some tracks are brilliant, but others.. well, in my cd-player i'll skip em.
IMD is again a massive album. Absolutely 2010, but with a early rave sauce over it.

I think that fat of the land is there best album.It won all those awards in 1997/98 for the tunes on.Even though all of there albums are brill.

It won awards because of the hits, Firestarter, Smack, and Breathe.
But as an album? I'll take Jilted, hands down!
