The Castbreeder!

No seriously, I remember I was 6 years old and my mum and I went to the cd shop and got Jilted. At home she copied me a cassette which ended in the middle of Skylined and Claustrophobic Sting wasn't there. I played it to death... When it broke down, I stole my mum's cd So yeah, I've been a Jilted fan since I was 6 years old. Of course I love the other albums too, but Jilted is the best for me.

By the way, has anyone noticed that the second part of Speedway (Theme From Fastlane) on the original cd releases is a now a part of the intro of The Heat (The Energy) on the 2008 More Music For The Jilted Generation cd?

Heh, just checked, you're right. Madness...

A good minute and a bit, just chopped and cellotaped onto The Heat.

Well I guess that makes sense now. It flows easily into The Heat.
I recently got the vinyl version too, then it doesn't matter anyway as it doesn't have these... 'track locator' thingies.

1. The Fat Of The Land
2. Invaders Must Die
3. Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned
4. Music For The Jilted Generation
5. Experience

all are AWESOME!
i can't understand why so many people dont like AONO... only because it's a little different

If you just mind the musical-side, then AONO is the best album

(sorry for my english...)

For me Prodigy went downhill starting with Baby's Got a Temper, still find them an interesting band though.Hope the next album in 2012 is good but im not holding my breath.

All of them are as good as one another. If you look at the eras they were done in you can tell the band were already ahead of there time.E.G(experience early 90's,rave,drug scene)

I don't think Experience was ahead of its time, but just really damn good; it executed techniques that were dated not long after release, but it just did it so skillfully. Weather Experience was ahead of its time, and I think he could have included an iteration or remix of it on every album and would stay fresh.
The best album has to be Jilted.
Even my driving instructor, who listens to reggae and modern hiphop said it was 'Really good'. (He proceeded to try to sing Poison. When I refused to join in, he trailed off and we haven't talked about the Prodigy since)

I'd agree completely with this. Experience certainly wasn't ahead of it's time, if anything it captured the rave scene as it was at that moment but there were tracks on it like WE which showed that Howlett was capable of much more, which I think is what set them apart from the likes of NJoi and other live acts that were kicking around at that time.

Jilted FTW.

Sorry for my English. Very long fascinated creativity Liam and so arranged the albums on their importance and interestingness in the order that is. This order shows the creative evolution of the master ... Liam Howlett.
