I agree that Mescaline could have replaced a tune but Colours? Omen Reprise? Warrios Dacne? WTF
I think that Mescaline should be on RWTW or Piranha's place.

I think colours has a proper energy in it,Omen Reprise is something like to catch your breathe and relax for a while...sounds good to me,Warrios Dance i can imagine that after 20 years we will be saying...ahh Warriors Dance one of the best tracks in IMD.

As for Omer Reprise...i don't know i like and i wouldn't want to see it out of IMD.
Mescaline yes it's a banging track and like i said before it could have been replace Piranha or RWTW for me

Colours is another story
I prefer the live version even if it's rockier

I disagree tho as Omen reprise is a beautifully engineered track, and really helps set the pace of the whole album. Slows it down just right so when worlds on fire kicks in it sounds awesome, one of my fave bits of the album, Reprise live is even better when Invaders comes in after it. Mescaline should replace piranha if anything.

What's all this "replace" bollocks? We are not talking about Jilted here, an album that pushed the limits of technology at the time to get as much music in as possible, hence leaving a lot of stuff out that Liam wanted to include in it. IMD is roughly 46 minutes long. You could have got nearly double the amount of tunes on it onto one CD, including Mescaline. They were not included, which means Liam felt they wouldn't have added to the album. Yes I would have loved a longer Prodigy album as after Jilted I feel cheated that an album that short (and full of "radio-esque" edits) was released. But, there you go. We aren't in charge, and thank goodness either Liam planned to, or gave in because Prodigy fans whinge so much, that Mescaline was even released.

I still reckon Omen Reprise (re-named obviously) would have made a sweet opener for the album.

id of replced piranha with mescaline but syaing that why replace anyhting he could of just made the album longer maybe have slotted mescaline in after omen reprise ?

Well personally, I say 'replace' because more isn't always better...if a difference was to the album to include Mescaline, I'd want to shorten it a bit and have Piranha out probably. Hell I want it out now

Who cares if it's on the album or not, we still got it right? Same with Comanche. Most of what I buy is EPs so it makes no difference to me.

I actually have to agree with part of this. Don't get me wrong, I think WD is an awesome track but there's something about the beats and the bass that makes me turn it down a bit as soon as it drops, always sounds a bit messy and harsh to me.
