The first cut I ever heard was "BREATHE" but by far my favorite tracks from "fat" are:

1' DIESEL POWER
2' SMACK MY BITCH UP
3' BREATHE

I do not know why DIESEL POWER gets no love it seems, but my walls shake when its played in my place (@ 200 watts RMS/channel through 10 inch <240mm> subs)

It's getting more love now since the 09 live version...I guess it got overshadowed by the album opening with SMBU and Breathe

First Prodigy contact I remember is my mate James handing me the Charly single on tape in 1991 and saying 'here, you'd be into this'.

I was.

In 1991 I was 6 years old and running round the house saying "Charly says always tell your mummy before you go off somewhere"

WEL EP just blew me away as a wee 15 year old that was heavily in to the rock / metal scene at the time. It changed my life musically and i've never looked back since

1992-93 (Album: Experience. Singles: Fire/Jericho, Out of Space, Wind it Up (Rewound), One Love)

First track i heard was One Love at my Bros house on MTV. It was actually the vid that drew me in as i was getting into computing and my bro was doing loads of gfx and programming. I was still very young and didn't really get properly into Prodigy till a year later when MFTJG. I still actually have One Love as my ring tone today xD

This is what I put in my thread, I'll just transfer it here since the topic was already here for me:

I couldn't tell exactly how old I was, but I do know I was very young. I Stumbled upon them first when I got the Hackers Movie Soundtrack.

Firestarter, Voodoo People and One Love were my first tastes of them and it was on, the dawn of a new day. Electro became a HUGE part of my life (still is) and I believe they started a sub-genre of their own. I blame my addiction to electro on them, because after my first taste I needed more. Much more, and the more I get the more I want, and the best part; There's no hangover. Pure euphoria.

Truely Voodoo Masters with their magic embedded in their music...

I'm strong minded, but willingly spell-bound...forever.

When did you start your thread? I also remember many times bringing to life a topic that has already been done before again and again. I guess I'm just too lazy to search the forum
