Well the first option is the boss for production, the second is the boss for live.
Hence why he uses Ableton Live for lives and Cubase (and in the case for AONO, Reason) for production.
That said, he doesn't do anything in Ableton that can't be equally as easily done with the others when he's live, so I'd ditch Ableton if I was him, he's not making the best of its live features.
The fact MFTJG and FOTL were made in Cubase gives me faith in it...it's funny, I only decided today to take it on again, with version 6 out and about with praise everywhere.
