Yeah I got an email from them announcing these 2 shows in Birmingham and Sheffield. What's the deal with playing to Norvern monkeys though? Why not come down saff where things are a little bit more expensive admittedly, but we don't all moan about the cold weather and the price of pies.
I'll probably go to these 2 gigs I reckon. Even if they are oop norf.

Playing Sheffield and Manchester is a brilliant idea, they are quality venues in quality cities.

Sheffield is 1500 capacity, saw the Prodge there in 2008 and it was superb. The stage is close to the barriers at the front.

Manchester is about 2k capacity a bit more open as it's all standing but I can imagie Leftfield's bass absolutely battering the venue.

I am going to have to seriously consider attending the Manchester gig.

I reckon over the next week they will announce 2 Brixton dates, and I shall go to both.
I'm going to get tickets for the LED festival in Victoria park London on Sat 28th Aug.

I doubt they will play Brixton along with the northern dates. Brixton is booked up every weekend in June and it would be sheer madness to book it mid week after 10 years away from the spotlight.

The two northern dates will do nicely to warm up for their headline appearance at Rockness (now that's proper Norf!)

£40.00 is not too bad for an all dayer so you won't miss out should you get giddy at the idea of going north of London

Leftfield have announced plans for a UK tour in the autumn.

They will play eight dates, kicking off at the Leeds O2 Academy Leeds on November 18, and culminating in a homecoming show at London's O2 Academy Brixton on December 3.

"The reception we received over the summer at the festivals was amazing," said frontman Neil Barnes. "Now we can't wait to get out there again this autumn and bring the full Leftfield experience to the rest of the country. Let the bass roar."

I'm glad I was right about the Brixton date, although it's just the one and it took a bit longer than a couple of weeks to announce it. Brixton here we come.

They were top notch at the LED, bit short, but hopefully longer for Brixton , failing that at least its proper decent sound system this time

lol True we don't get many gigs but at least we're always up for them..I read that the first Prodigy gigs in France were 'weird' and everyone just stood there.

Just got 2 tickets for Brixton Academy on Saturday 4th Dec. Can't wait. I'll do my usual trick and see if any are going really cheap for the Friday night a couple of days before on EBay. Over 18s late shows too. Love it!
