How do you get URL to work in Signature links?

Do I have to be a member for a long time for them to activate?

My sig looks wierd right now with the BB code displaying

you've got your tags slightly wrong, they should look like this

bizarre it works fine for me.

Bizarre...I remember something similar to mine with the picture, kept messing about, don't know how I got it working

Your sig worked for me when I tested it out!
On the sig edit page, did you untick the option buttons? Like 'Disable BBCode' etc?
