Can't stand Ewan McGregor, but worth the film just to hear Leftfield's "A Final Hit."
They also did the tune for Shallow Grave starring..... git.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?

What a film...mirrored the lifestyle of the 'older boys' in the area back in london when I lived there.

The OD bit also reminded me of when I drank too much.

WOOOOT?! Some peeps actually haven't heard Born Slippy? One of clasics of the 90's!

The movie is very good, but not great, imo.. By far one of the best movies of that year, but all-time? Meh..

Born Slippy was good the first time round, then after this film it got swallowed up by the mainstream and played to death to the delight of pissed up wankers shouting "lager, lager, lager."
Funny how everyone told me and my mates it was shit, but them when it was in a film it suddenly became good.
I'm always pleased when artists I have followed through their careers make it big, they usually deserve it, but it's a shame when it's usually with one of their weaker tracks and then seems to taint their work after that. I'm not just talking about Underworld here either, nor just music. Mainstream = rape = reduced creativity and pandering to the masses once the lure of money has kicked in. Sad but True (awesome tune by the way)
