Dont think you helped yourself by calling it what you did and using the prodigy as a debating point though.

Just bored of the same things being said over and over again, if prodigyjohn knew what the post would show then why bother, its a clear view from all the previous posts on pendulum what people feel...
Why don't we make a post 'bands that are commercial pop sell outs'

it's interesting how everyone starts pissing pendulum and their music in this forum, just because it's Pendulum, while they keep listening to the shitiest forms of DnB.....something that even Pendulum try to avoid...............................but what the hell.....i'm just a 17 years old little prick/twat/(add whatever you like).................wake up people and give yourselves an education on the 90s jungle and the masterpieces that were produced in that era.......you might even find proper jungle music produced nowadays in labels like Scientific Wax and radio stations like Jungletrain.net............a few months ago I was a complete noob when it came to DnB but after a deep research.......everything is possible....

PS: I know...the finish sounds cheesy and lame.....but what the hell I couldn't think of anything less cheesy

When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity
when many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion

Cheers, that was very patronising being told to wise up on 90s D&B, thats a bit much 'wake up and give yourselves an education' ??? are you taking the piss. I'm not going to insult you, just please appreciate some of us here do know D&B by nature of our age and being around when the scene exploded. Music evolves, with creativity and technology.... unfortunately some beats are just fucking weak and lazy pop

God, not good on names its so long ago my brother had tapes he'd play all the time mid nineties odd names like sharkey sorry , maybe slipmatt , douggle? but one could be happy hardcore Dj, they did a bit of each maybe?. I wasn't into it much apart from the lighter intelligent stuff, but it seemed to be everywhere from nowhere, my mate got me into it a bit cos he'd like mixing it. I found it a bit much for raving, only big gig I went to was grooverider ln 98 pretty commercial but not too dark. Oh Goldie back in 96 at T in Park, but that had gotten really commercial. I prefer house , hard house, trance, big beat, not jungle and dancing 4/4 beats rather than 1/2 skippy beats if you know what i mean. Sorry but my brain for names is fucked, but I have heard a lot of Beats to know what is poor production, and even with limited experience in production too, you can see that pendulum are weak pop imo. I hope thats enough

Any age can appreciate, understand love music,..... I just hate what some people put out, when there's no real time or thought put into it, its lazy, boring, predictable and cheezy pop

Enjoying ourselves I think. And I have no problem with it, I'm a total hedonist, I think we should enjoy ourselves and never hold back on doing so. Life of luxury and dying of heart failure at 50? Sounds better than the alternative; living a 50/50 life, enjoying ourselves within means but holding back, watching what we eat, eating healthy crap and living till 90, chewing on tofu.

Just wanted to apologise. Been heavily into the prodigy since first time i heard them (experiene era), been visiting the site and forum for a long time and only recently felt like i wanted to register and contribute anything. I have quoted purple squirrel has this apology is aimed at you. It was never my intention to piss anyone off with starting this topic. In hindsight, what i should have done is gone into one of the other topics - of which i was aware - and added the comment.

"Was never the biggest fan of pendulum, but i heard that they were pretty good at their own show, I went to see them and i agree"

Could never pick between them. Being critical, blur will always stand up better musically, but noel did produce some iconic stuff in my eyes

Thats ridiculous Blur are in not one single way better than Oasis... Sales, Image, Popularity and least not Musically.

Blur mainly wrote catchy borderline pop shit and Damon Albarn is a proper knobhead. Oasis have albums full of great material as well as one of the best songwriters of the generation and Possibly the best front man of all time.

Surely?

I see Albarn as a musical genius, and a nicer more intelligent person than Liam (how is he a knobhead??). His non Blur stuff, like Monkey, The Good The Bad And The Queen and Gorillaz are all great.
As for why I find Blur are better than Oasis, that's down to tastes...same old chords, rhythms and drawn out moaning can't be saved by the few good tracks they have.

Liam G, however, is a knobhead. Slagging people, wishing Damon AID's and bragging about the fact he worked on a building site make him just an ego tripped cocky child in my opinion, can never take him seriously.

What better forum to have an old 90's band war eh?
