Well yeah i suppose the question of who makes the better music will always come down to a matter of taste...
Alot of people enjoy Parklife, Country house, Girls and boys etc... Personally i would say songs like that are about as bad as it gets, im still not sure wether to even take them as a serious attempt at music. Id pick Wonderwall, Back in anger and Roll with it over those offerings any day (Not that im saying those are the best Oasis have done, but prob. their most popular in comparison)

I will agree with you on certain aspects of Liams behaviour and personality (the aids comment is beyond ridiculous) but liams parka has more personality and charisma than albarn. After all they are meant to be 'rock stars' Id rather have someone whos cocky with a bit of attitude fronting my band than a well educated clown.

And if Liam G is good enough to hang around with master H then he is good enough for me

Heh well I'm not a huge fan of the more poppy ones like Girls and boys, but I see your point.
As for the master h thing, I don't seem to like the people he likes in general...maybe he see's something I don't in liam g and pendulum, I dunno
Agree'd Albarn isn't rockstar material but eh, they're different people I guess. I recall Liam H saying he'd step on Damons head to get to the top once haha oh well I'll fight my corner nonetheless

Wow. There has been a lot of shit on here for saying that all prodigyjohn said was that he enjoyed them live. I did as well!
Dont think you helped yourself by calling it what you did and using the prodigy as a debating point though.

Just bored of the same things being said over and over again, if prodigyjohn knew what the post would show then why bother, its a clear view from all the previous posts on pendulum what people feel...
Why don't we make a post 'bands that are commercial pop sell outs'

Just wanted to apologise. Been heavily into the prodigy since first time i heard them (experiene era), been visiting the site and forum for a long time and only recently felt like i wanted to register and contribute anything. I have quoted purple squirrel has this apology is aimed at you. It was never my intention to piss anyone off with starting this topic. In hindsight, what i should have done is gone into one of the other topics - of which i was aware - and added the comment.

"Was never the biggest fan of pendulum, but i heard that they were pretty good at their own show, I went to see them and i agree"

Thanks, no need to apologise prodigyjohn..... its not you, its just the lack of imagination in some modern music. You must know what it was like when beats were fresh and new and the sounds more experimental. Its so boring with a lot of modern artists, boring familiar beats. Unlike The prodigy.... Thats why I love the prodigy with all my heart body and mind and soul. They evolve!

I don't get it What has irish got to do with saying oh god? Anyways it doesn't annoy me too much...It annoys christians more when we (non-believers) say oh god, oh my god, jesus etc. For me it's just an expression. Plenty of our expressions and words are from languages we don't speak, cultures we don't live and beliefs we don't hold.

I think he means O'God, like O'Leary and other such typically Irish names.

Even when you get it it's not funny though.

Yess, I thought it was Silent Hill.
They've turned to crap now but the first 4 were masterpieces

Totally...I still listen and use the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack as inspiration for music at times.
Still haven't completed 1 and 3 though...sshh

Yamaoka, one of my favorite composers
