i suppose this was the patronizing comment of the day

edit !

The fact that many producers in Hollywood are of jewish ancestry means nothing. do you dislike the guitarist of linkin park cause he is jewish ?
the thing is that this extremely high profile movie is supposed to do one simple thing, to refresh our memory, one more time, about what the israeli pm and every other official refer to when they spew vague phrases such as "never again". it has nothing to do with the Holocaust itself. it has to do with how shamelessly israel's governments have been exploiting it as the cornerstone of their foreign policy towards their neighbors for more than half a century now. unless you've been living under a rock during the recent invasion of israel in the gaza strip the net was flooded with pics of mutilated kids, limps and cracked skulls and now an assult on activists in international waters. at the same time all you hear on the tv are flat out awesome comments like "There is no humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip," (from Avigdor Lieberman.) all that movie does is balance it a little in your head; on one hand a continuous genocide and on the other the special right to defend itself "a little bit more" of a government that convinced you it represents the only true victims (c) of the second world war

When you are out of space, you must break & enter...walking through mindfields and following medusas path...then the warriors should dance and invaders will die.

Heh nah not a Tarantino period, just Inglorious and Pulp..I had natural born killers on a vhs from the early 90's. My mum had bought it of some street merchant. She didn't like it, told me it was crap and we eventually threw it out

Wow that was pointless information...shoulda went in my 'random post'.

She's taking YOU to a Robert rodriguez film, nice one.
Finally finished Seven Samurai. Does not deserve the insane hype it has. Metacritic aggregated it as the 9th highest scored film of all time...bollocks.
It was alright, but that's it.

+1 for the edit. Have you read "The Holocaust Industry"?

When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity
when many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion

11 edits..wow.

Anyways, I don't think Quentin Tarantino had any of that in mind when he wrote the film 12 years ago.
And I don't think he or its producer are Jewish...the Holocaust is just a topic, a well known setting used a lot in fiction so that a setting doesn't need to be laid out, allowing more time for story.

What you say may be true, may not be true, but it doesn't make a difference to me when I'm watching it...politics is bollocks anyway man, unless you have any power there's no point stressing out anything, we have no control, and I don't have any problem with that as long as I can live my life. And this is coming from someone in Ireland, whose situation atm is...well, its on the news.

i didn't just rip it of off some site or anything, i wrote it.

You said what i wrote may or may not be true, but all i did was make a connection between purposeful misinterpretations of recent history in popular media and cheap political excuses linked to what many call genocide. His producers, yeah... just read the quote at the 3rd paragraph from the bottom. And yes you do have control, every time you buy something you do vote for it. Like all those people who gave money to watch this film.

I finally got around to watching The Town

Directed and starring Ben Affleck...before it started I was saying how much I hate his almost-cocky-deadpan-face face, and sure enough it was there from the beginning. And it stuck like hard clay; even when he smiled, the rest of his face stayed the exact same..for the whole 2 hours.
Forgetting his annoying face, the film was alright, not as good as I thought it would be but pretty decent.
Once again, a photo of Ben Affleck and some action music for 2 hours will do as a substitute. At one point he's in a disguise, trying to look inconspicuous...same face.

Tsk, some people take things too seriously. If you want to hear antisemitism regarding the film industry then I would suggest listening to the drunken ramblings of the reactionary catholic bigot Mel Gibson.
As for the guitarist of Linkin Park, I don't like their music because I think it's shit, nothing to do with the particular brand of mental illness that any of them may carry as their faith.
Yet again Valtiel you jump onto a comment and piss and moan, while sticking true to your ethos of never really contributing anything. As for religion:

"I don't try to imagine a personal god. It suffices to stand in awe at the structure of the world, insofar as it allows our inadequate senses to appreciate it".
