I wonder with all the Skrillex haters, if any of them have actually ever been in the middle of a crowd for one of his performances? Instead of just hating on something they never experienced live. Maybe once they do experience it, they'll understand why people love it so much.

I have not seen him live but don't really want to.

Imo, as mentioned before, one idea, flogged to death.

What about people who love him and never been at one of his performances? I don't hate him, i just don´t like his music and the influence he is having in the electronic music. But that's just my opinion, i think there are much better dubstep artists than him.

You have the idea! I used to hate skrillex with a passion but now I listen to two tracks of his. I hate gaystep but i don't consider most of skrillex Dumpsterstep...Most of my friends don't know who the prodigy is! And I think it will attract more people who have not heard of them.

I can't help giggling a bit, reading about people caring about genres. Threre's both gold and cow dung in most genres, imo.

If young mr. Moore had cared varying his tunes a bit more, I'd might like him more. But up til now, he's mostly been a one-trick pony in my eyes. Rather Autolaser. Giggity.

I have a couple of things to say:

1) When Skrillex first started out, we (on this forum) had a nice discussion about how cool his beats were. This was in early 2010 before Scary Monsters and all that came out. I personally don't like his music any more but for the time, it was pretty fresh. My point is that you don't have to be a fan and it's ok to change your mind about an artist but don't be a hypocrite about it.

2) I saw him play live last fall to a couple hundred people in a small club in Montreal. He was playing on CDJs and a Mixer, no light show or any kind of visuals. His mixing skills were pretty lacking and he apologized for them but most ppl there had a good time so it is what it is. My point here is that until Prodigy are opening for HIM, don't be mad about it, he's just doing his thing.

...

Also I'm not some kinda Skrillex stalker but:

So in different interviews he's said that Fat of the Land, Burial - Untrue and some Korn album were his 'first record'. Seems legit.

well when you think about it they have a similar ideology and skrillex is now hated for "destroying the dubstep scene" and the prodigy were hated in the early 90's for "destroying the rave scene" so that is another similarity

Anyone know much about the other support acts, not chase and status, they are pretty big now (plus its a DJ set?). I am a bit clueless to the support acts that are advertised, anyone got a scooby?

That does not include Zane "piggy back" Lowe
